Motivatinal Monday: St Patick's Day!

As many of you may already know St Patrick's day is Sunday! I have never really been a big fan of the holiday but this year I have some fun little DIYs and Recipes coming up that I am super excited about!! so to kick off the week I am going to share with you some fun and surprising facts about St Patrick's Day!!

+St. Patrick isn't Irish. He was born in Roman Britain
at 16 he was kidnapped and brought to Ireland as a slave

 

+The actual color of St. Patrick is blue. Green became associated with St. Patrick's Day during the 19th century. Green, in Irish legends, was worn by fairies and immortals, and also by people to encourage their crops to grow.

 

+In Chicago, on St. Patrick's Day, the rivers are dyed green. 

 

+In Seattle, there is a ceremony where a green stripe is painted down the roads

 

+ Each leaf on the clover mean something,
1. Hope 2. Faith 3. Love & 4. Luck
hence, why 4 leaf clovers are considered lucky!

Motivational Monday: Start Living

Motivational Monday: Hot Pink!?!

so today is the first motivational monday were i am not giving you a quote ! i resonantly found this picture and though it was so cute that i just have to share it!

i love love love this picture! everything from the hot pink mixer to the pink cupcakes ha i don't normally like a ton of pink but if you were to look at this picture you would think quite the opposite! everything's pink!!! ha it really makes me want a pink mixer! so i got looking for one! here are a few of the ones i found!

One Way Streets

So recently I have been completely slacking on blogging, I have been very busy, I have school during the week and my weekends are always packed!! but I am trying to blog more than just my motivational mondays.

  So this past Wednesday night we were coming home from visiting a friend in the hospital, it was late a we were hungry but couldn't find anything that was open, when we finally spotted a Carls Jr that was open, we decided to eat there, well and my mom who was driving missed the turn and pulled in to a gas station, and went acrossed the parking lot to pull out the other side to get the Carls Jr, and as were stopped there I look over and theres one of the road block things that make it so you cant cross over the road do you know what Im talking about? ha anyway it makes the road a one way street and I was all mom I don't think you can go that wa--- as she pulls out onto this one street going the WRONG way!! Macheala and I started screaming "were gonna die were gonna die" Matt who was in the backseat just looked at us like we were nuts!! and stayed completely calm! luckly for us it wasnt that far to Carls Jr and there wasnt any traffic on the road!

Later after we got are food Macheala and I started laughing about it! and got a mad case of the giggles and everything became funny!!

Motivational Monday: Audrey!

So this week I want you all to get a manicure! wear something pink,  laugh off those calories!! primp and put on some lipstick even if you just wear it around the house!! Kiss someone! or at least give someone a hug!! Be strong it may not seem like it but there's light at the end of the tunnel!  Be a pretty happy girl, never forget that tomorrow is another day and yesterday is the past, and know that miracles really do happen!!

A Freaky Story!!!

so tonight I was in the bedroom trying to brush out Bobbi Jo, when my moms phone started to ring, I am taking it out to her and of course shes on the phone with my Grandma, and theres a guy on the back porch!! its all glass doors, and hes  just standing there looking around and of the rest went kinda like this

Mom: "That guy ran out of gas and wants to know if we have any"

I hand her, her CELL phone and she hands me the HOUSE phone

Me to Grandma "Theres a guy here its really freaky!!"

Grandma(over the phone): "I know I know! tell your mom to tell him to go back to his car and we will call someone to bring him gas"

I give my mom the message and she goes back to the door

meanwhile Bobbi Jo is going crazy!! I mean she will bark at people but this wasnt her normal theres someone I don't know bark this was a "OMG THERES A BAD GUY HERE DO SOMETHING YA'LL" 

any way

Mom to the guy: "Go back to your car and I will call someone to bring you gas"

Random Guy: "Don't you have just a gallon"

Mom: "No It goes bad so we don't have it around"

Random Guy: "are you sure!"

Mom: "Yes!"

 so giving the place one more good look he leaves...and goes back around the garage looking at the place really weird! 

Well apparently he ran out of gas up on the freeway?? and decided to jump the fence and walk half a mile in like four feet of snow to a house that you can't even see from the freeway to see if they have gas!! and he just so reandomly happened to have a gas tank that was EMPTY??? weird!! ha so anyway we called the police and they took him gas and everything's all good now! It still was just really freaking weird!! Plus I am a extremely paranoid person!

so now I am gonna go to bed! ha sleep good and I hope you don't have any creepy guys on your doorstep tonight!
